Email lists are your direct contact with customers. What good is a list of subscribers if they don’t open your emails? It becomes a glorified Rolodex.

If you are selling a product or building your brand through a newsletter, then a high open rate is the top priority. A million subscribers mean nothing when you can’t maintain interest past the welcome email.

Apply these strategies to increase the value of your emails and the chances of getting a conversion.

Check your Subject Line

If you are reading this then you prove the importance of subject lines (also known as headlines). Avoid using trigger words and phrases like Cash, Act Now, Urgent, You Won, Get Paid, Risk-Free… you get the point. That is a surefire way to have your email sent directly to the recipient's spam folder.
