Not gonna lie, today I woke up feeling like the same person from December 31, 2023. It’s tough to become a new, better version of yourself overnight.

Even with a crisp January morning air and a TikTok feed of “The Big A## Calendar” and “New year, new me!” aspirations, the reset button just isn’t working.

But transforming hopes into actual, achieved goals requires more planning and consistent effort over time.

The new year brings an opportunity for reflection and growth. As a business owner or marketer, it’s the perfect time to take an honest look at what worked and what didn’t in 2023, then use those lessons learned to set clear, achievable marketing goals aligned with your overall business objectives for 2024.

When it comes to your marketing strategy, begin by taking stock of 2023.

What worked and what didn’t?
Where did you see success, and where did you fall short?

That understanding will help you shape goals, plans, and tactics that build on your momentum while improving less-than-adequate areas.
