One of the NBA’s most iconic team logos belongs to the Chicago Bulls.
This is undeniable.
The logo belongs to one of the NBA’s most iconic teams that have housed some of the greatest sports minds and talents that ever existed.
This is the only logo in the entire league that has not undergone any redesign or change since it was introduced in 1966.
Most people give Dean Wessel the most credit for creating the mark. But as time marches on, more and more people have given Ted Drake credit for creating the logo.
This image of a bullhead, which is now recognized worldwide, is known as a brand mark. Similarly to McDonald’s golden arches, Twitter’s blue bird, and Apple’s bitten fruit, the mean-faced bull identifies the brand.
Black, red, and white are the colors traditionally used by the sports teams of Chicago; the color red was chosen for its ‘stimulating and intense qualities’ while black was selected to portray energy.
